Mechanical design engineer position responsible for developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems related to the design and integration of major subsystems and subassemblies.? Responsibilities include both conceptualizing and detailed designing efforts;? coordinating the development of system and subsystem level integration and general arrangement of major weapon systems;? providing engineering support in the manufacture, assembly or testing of components, assemblies or all-up-rounds in-house and at vendors/suppliers/contractors.?

Desired Skills:

3+ years experience with design/development of weapon systems and knowledge of government/industry design/procurement specifications/regulations, test methods, and review processes.?

Position requires complete understanding and extensive application of technical expertise? in the mechanical engineering field and cognizant of other related disciplines? involvement to meet overall program objectives.?

Must be capable of traveling.?

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Must be proficient with Pro-E.

Prefers active or recent Secret Clearance.

BSME

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing are strongly desired.?

Knowledge of Earned Value Measurement System.
