Network Centric Enterprise Services Analyst

Description: Candidate will serve as a member of an Operational Test and Evaluation team supporting the Joint Interoperability Test Command at Fort Huachuca. The team will be involved in operationally testing a DoD transformational initiative developed by DISA-Network Centric Enterprise Services (NCES). NCES will provide the services that support the exchange of information between producers and consumers (human or information systems) while leveraging Information Assurance (IA)/Security and Network Operations capabilities to protect the information from unauthorized use or access. These services will allow users and information systems to find and access relevant information, expose the information they produce for others to discover, and collaborate in a more effect manner. The program will evolve to support a globally interconnected capability for all phases of warfighting and business operations. NCES will also support the full spectrum of joint, interagency, and combined operations. NCES is an overarching program that allows other programs to leverage the capabilities of a net-centric environment. The team will be responsible for developing an overall test concept for the NCES. This effort will encompass coordinating with the other Operational Test Agencies, reviewing and commenting on Life-cycle documentation, developing a valid test concept, developing test measures and data collection techniques, preparing plans, collecting data in a field environment, managing and protecting data, analyzing data, assisting with the evaluation of the results, and preparing a comprehensive test report. Note that the focus of the team will be testing and evaluation rather than development. Overtime will be required during peak efforts such as report and plan development and during the test period and travel requirements could be substantial.

Qualifications:
Required Experience: 4 + years of relevant experience in the Information Technology field. Understanding and experience in a DoD environment of networking concepts, operation, management and network-centric concepts. Excellent writing and briefing skills are required as is the ability to work in a high pressure, team environment. Travel is required, sometimes up to a month at a time. Estimate travel at about 20%. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information

Desired Experience: An in-depth understanding of current and emerging Web-Based technology. An understanding of the DoD Life Cycle Management process and experience in and understanding of Operational Test and Evaluation as accomplished in a DoD environment.

Education or Certification Requirements: BS in relevant field is required.
