1-Year Contract

JOB DUTIES: This individual will be responsible for participating in a multi-disciplined team of engineers to design, develop, procure and fabricate the redesign of a major section of the aircraft. Specific areas of responsibility include the structural redesign of airframe, assurance of structural integrity and the integration and installation of various structures including weapons systems, mission system equipment, and auxiliary fuel tanks. A key responsibility will be to work closely with the Sub-systems IPTs to integrate their designs effectively and with other company organizations to ensure the design solutions are producible from an in-line build standpoint

JOB SKILLS: Individual must have worked within an IPT / AIT environment and have demonstrated Level 4 capability (Level 4 typically requires a minimum of 13 years experience in an engineering classification).

Individual should have a good understanding of aircraft structures and must have experience in integrating large complex aircraft systems. Demonstrated leadership experience or potential is required. Experience working with the commercial platform, CATIA V5 and DCAC/PDM is desired.

Must have at least a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautics, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or related field.
