Subcontract Administrator: CEV Program

This position will be a part of the upcoming Crew Exploration Program (CEV) which will be replacing the current space shuttle. As a Subcontract Administrator you will develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepare bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.

Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. Successful applicant will have knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations, have worked in an IPT environment, have previous subcontract background (preferably on a development program), and the ability to work with multi-functional teams. Communication skills, both written and oral are a must.

We are hiring for multiple positions and a wide array of experience levels. Must have experience in subcontracts and posses a 4 year degree or equivalent. Prior NASA and small business compliance experience a plus. Openings in El Segundo California and Houston Texas. This position is contingent on award.
