This is a Team ITSS Position with Jacobs.  The candidate must have 15 years Project Management Experience and a Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field, OR 13 years Project Management Experience and a Masters Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field.

 

Other Duties:

 

The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for overall project management, programmatic, integration, technical management, and coordination for the conduct of AIT site surveys at five designated US Army Depot locations for the intended purpose of identifying/recommending AIT products and software solutions capable of enhancing/improving each particular Depot?s mission and functions.  The PM will also be responsible for the implementation of the approved AIT recommendations at two of the Depots.  The PM will coordinate/conduct detailed analysis of US Army Depot level business processes and perform as an interface/coordinator between Depot Level activities, Automated Identification Technology specialists and traditional IT support organizations in the successful deployment and integration of AIT tools and techniques and Depot level processes.  The PM must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated past performance in presenting to GO/SES audiences.  The PM must have a wide range of hands-on experience at an Army Depot or equivalent manufacturing/refurbishing experience, knowledge in the use of AIT to improve business processes and the management of AIT integration to ?in-place? IT support systems.  The selected PM must also have a detailed knowledge of the Army?s SALE program and general knowledge of the Army?s LMP and GCCS-A programs.  The successful PM candidate will have a demonstrated capability to prepare abstract or conceptual AIT/IT related project planning documents and morph these into detailed implementation or execution plans.  The successful PM candidate will have a demonstrated track record in the successful management of diverse, technically oriented, AIT/IT implementation teams.
