Systems Engineer

Albin Engineering has an opening for a Systems Engineer to support a major aerospace defense company. The candidate will perform technical planning, capability analysis and integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

 

General Position Description:

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

 

Requirements:Proven performance in enterprise architecture design, development, integration and testing of real-time software applications developed for commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) engineering structure. Demonstrated experience with architecture design techniques to flow-down Enterprise Operational Capabilities to specific System, Sub-System, and Element performance and verification requirement specifications including definition of boundaries, interfaces, data exchanges, operating states & modes, functional and nonfunctional performance requirements. Hands-on experience with Telelogics System Architect, TAU, and DOORS tools is desired.
