Plant World Inc. is the largest Wholesale Nursery in New Mexico.  Plant World is located in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico and specializes in Plant and Landscape materials for Commercial and Residential Landscapers, Contractors and Architects. Based on the incredible growth in Albuquerque and increased business potential we are seeking an experience Sales Representative to service our Commercial Accounts.  The Commercial Sales Rep. position offers excellent base salary plus an aggressive commission structure and benefits.

Summary:

This position is responsible for successfully selling Plant World, Inc. products and services. Duties include identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities; presenting to executive levels of organizations and preparing formal bids; and leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to closure. Individual needs to maintain a strong knowledge landscape industry and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management in a timely and consistent manner. Act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts. Manage ongoing contacts and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts. Provide regular status reports on new contacts and existing accounts. Relate to customer that we service what we sell and solicit their opinion and suggestions. Maintain good customer relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Responsible for locating new opportunities for Plant World, Inc., by visiting existing and new customers.

? Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

? Direct contact with people of all levels both internally and external, and will need to work with sales and buying departments.

? Must be responsive to the customers needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.

? Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.

? Meets with key clients, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

? Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.

? Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

? Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

? Two or more year?s professional selling experience preferably in landscape or nursery industry.

? Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and sales quotas.

? Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills

? Self driven, motivated and results oriented

? Must be a proficient communicator and listener.

? Able to work with minimal supervision.

? Able to work individually and as part of a team.

? Needs to have excellent relationship-building skills.

? Computer literate, high level of accuracy and detail oriented.

? Must be able to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills.

Educational Requirements:

? High School Graduate, Some College preferred

? Knowledgeable in Plant Life and Landscape Material
