Quality Manager

A company in Manchester with international presence that specializes in state-of-the-art equipment for prototypes and production components has an immediate position available for a Quality Manager.

The quality manager will be responsible for the quality aspects of QA contract administration and coordination responsibility, along with day to day assignment of inspectors.

The right canidate will preferably have a mechanical engineering BS degree, prior experience in a managerical role, metal cutting experience, be very computer literate, have the strong ability to organize, retain and manage multiple tasks on a regular basis, have good knowledge of aerospace customer requirements and an ability to assure that these requirements are being met, be capable of communicating effectively at all levels, e.g; customer, facility management, peers, shop personnel, and vendors to achieve desired results, have basic layout inspection ability, blueprint reading, quality system administration, auditing, corrective action, continuous improvement knowledge, and preferably training in ISO 9000:2000 and AS 9100.

This position is possible temp to hire and is 1st shift.
