Aircraft Technician

Job summary

The Aircraft Technician is responsible to the Chief pf Maintenance. He she performs the maintenance, inspection and repair of the company aircraft in accordance with government, manufacturer and company requirements. He/she assists in the operational support of aircraft, ramp activities, hangar facilities, ground support equipment and may participate in international trips as required.

Job Responsibilities:

* Meet departures and arrivals of aircraft pre flight/post flight inspections of aircraft to ensure the safety of the aircraft.
* Normal and routine maintenance of the company aircraft to ensure the safest and most reliable and available aircraft for company use.
* Troubleshooting of the aircraft systems. The goal is to keep a 100% squawk free aircraft.
* Routine hangars and equipment maintenance as needed using your time wisely on the downtime periods. On call 24/7 and work holidays.
* Shop projects, parts handling, supply reordering and stocking etc...
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief of Maintenance.

Education: Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired. Airframe and Powerplant Certificate issued by the FAA

Experience: At least 5 years related Corporate Aircraft Maintenance experience.

Specialized Knowledge: Gulfstream IV and V experience. Inspectors Authorization certificate a plus (IA)

Skills: Aircraft Mechanic skills and familiar with avionics troubleshooting

Other:
Must have own tools required
Must be available and on call 24/7
Must travel domestic and internationally as required
