G2 is looking for a candidate to immediately fill the Ops Manager - Airline Cabin Cleaning position and join our team in Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP), Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have had 2+ years of staff supervisory / management experience in the services industry (preferably contract services). The position is responsible for efficient and effective supervision of the Cabin Cleaning service operation via overseeing and assisting in the comprehensive cleaning of aircraft interiors per airline specifications, day-to-day operation including staff scheduling, covering open shifts, manage daily/weekly budgeted hours, performance management, incident investigations, and responding to client needs. Position reports to and works in close cooperation with the Account Manager to fulfill operations? objectives.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Must be able to perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary. Must be familiar with all pertinent regulations (company/client/government agencies) Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to the Account Manager.Make sure employee follow all regulations/procedures. Communicate effectively with fellow employees and client representativesMake recommendations to Account Manager regarding personnel performanceCommunicate safety hazards and equipment problems to Account Manager.Make sure state licenses and training records are currentReport inquiries and other major incidents to Account Manager Keep Account Manager informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required Utilize company and client equipment, supplies/resources in a conscientious, cost effective mannerPerform quality assurance service audits as directed to conform to client?s specifications and/or proceduresPerform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma required, college course work preferred and/or 2+ years of progressive supervisory experienceOperations or Airline experience preferredPrevious operations experience in a custodial or cabin service environment preferred Track record of building positive work teams in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, diverse environmentSupervision of multiple crews under the guidance of a shift lead, each responsible for successful completion of cleaning assignmentsAvailability to work flexible schedule to include weekends, overnight and holiday shiftsReliable transportation and a valid driver?s licenseUp to 30% of staff task performed outside in open air/inclement weather conditions Physical ability to lift, carry and/or hold up to 50 lbs.Advanced communication skills, written and verbal suitable for interaction in an international, multi-cultural, linguistically diverse workforce Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skill to include, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Outlook; proficient data entry skillFlexibility, multitasking skills and ability to work in an changing environmentBilingual skills a plus
