Supervisor-Fueling

Penauille Servisair a leading global aviation service company has an opening for a Supervisor - Fueling at its La Guardia Airport location. 

 

The Supervisor - Fueling is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the fueling operation on his/her shift, while ensuring that customer standards and contractual services are met.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Guides and directs employees in the effective execution of duties, assists in problem solving and ensures that all

-Company health and safety policies are enforced.

-Assists the Assistant Manager - Fueling or Manager - Fueling in developing daily workforce schedules as it relates to

 cost and productivity of the Fueling Operations.

-Assists with safety and technical training, as well as maintenance of training records as required.

-Performs KRONOS duties as required.

-Implements, at the direction of senior management, policies and procedures in fueling operations.

-Stays abreast of contractual agreements with customers in order to recoup additional charges when necessary.

-Performs quality assurance audits to ensure proper service levels, as well as to evaluate employee performance.

-Participates in first step union grievances and stays abreast of all union matters, including familiarity with collective

 bargaining agreements pertaining to worksite where applicable.

-Directly supervises the Lead Fuelers and Fuelers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

-Required knowledge of into-plane fueling and GSE fueling, as well as familiarity with equipment such as hydrants

 and tanker refuelers.

-Must possess a valid driver's license.
