Job Description:
Seller-Doer responsible for developing, marketing and maintaining federal client relationships. Leads federal agency pursuits and contracts with a geographical region for HNTB Architecture, Inc. Works with HNTB Federal Services Corp. on business development and marketing efforts. Markets to and develops business relationships with a number of agencies on a variety of project types. Has significant experience with government contracting practices. Handles the most complex federal projects of the largest magnitude.


Duty / Task
* Serves as primary liaison contact with federal clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.
* Responsible for the administrative and technical coordination of office federal project efforts.
* Responsible for the hiring, supervision, development, evaluation, and termination of staff members, as well as establishing and approving budgets for the group. The number of employees directly supervised is typically at least 2 but normally 4 or more.
* Ensures efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
* Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals.
* Actively manage client's budget, schedule and program; HNTB budget and schedule; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
* Coordinate work efforts and review work performed.
* Develop trusting relationships with federal agency clients.
* Understand federal contracting and delivery methodologies such as design-build, IDIQ's, and FAR regulations.
* Establish relationships with regional alliances, partners, and consultants.
* Maintain active memberships and participation in organizations that provide opportunity for relationship building.
* Possess strong communication and team building skills.





Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture plus 12 years related experience. Other duties as assigned. Registered Architect required.
