Position Requirements:

 

WPIIDC, Inc. has a great opportunity for a Permit Expeditor with a minimum of 2 years of permitting experience. The candidate must be able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment, demonstrate an exemplary level of organization and productivity and maintain a sense of humor and wit. Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised effectively and efficiently is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.  In this position, the candidate will have the great opportunity to travel to various cities throughout the State of California and possibly surrounding states. Working closely with municipalities, the candidate will be vital in expediting the permitting process and establishing a good rapport with City staff. The candidate will also coordinate with various project consultants to track and drive the permit process. The candidate will also be responsible for other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by management.

 

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and tenacious with distinguishable people skills. Travel is required (airplane travel) as well as use of personal vehicle locally with mileage reimbursement. Proof of a valid CA driver?s license and insurance will be required upon employment. Occasional overnight travel will also be necessary.

 

After employment, the successful candidate will need to present evidence of their U.S. Citizenship or proof of their legal right to live and work in the United States.
