WPIIDC, Inc. has a great opportunity for a Site Development Manager.

 

In this position, the candidate will direct and manage the development process for large commercial real estate projects. The project scope of responsibility includes site identification, feasibility analysis, coordination with municipalities, due diligence, entitlement processing, design and permitting. Coordination continues throughout the construction and grand opening phases. The candidate will coordinate and communicate with various project participants including land owners, developers, brokers, attorneys, planning officials, architects, engineers, and contractors.

 

This position will have the responsibility of preparing and overseeing entitlement applications through various California jurisdictions. A thorough understanding of CEQA documents (including EIR?s and Negative Declarations) is required as well as overseeing project building and site designs. The candidate will analyze various entitlement processes to determine the most efficient manner.

 

Additional responsibilities include managing staff and sub consultants, as well as leading project meetings. Preparation and maintenance of project budgets and schedules is critical. Initiating and tracking communication among all project participants is equally as important. Work includes considerable public contact, often under difficult circumstances, and client representation at municipal meetings and hearings. The candidate will also be responsible for other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by management. Driving will be required and reliable transportation is necessary.  Proof of a valid CA driver?s license and insurance will be required upon employment.  Other means of travel may also be required (including occasional airplane travel).

 

After employment, the successful candidate will need to present evidence of their U.S. Citizenship or their legal right to live and work in the United States.
