Assistant Estimator

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):


The Assistant Estimator provides production accounting support to the production accountants on the NBCU TV Studios shows as well as to the Editorial/Wrap Department (approximately 100 projects per year being produced under six different legal entities). This position also provides assistant estimator functions for corporate based shows that include The Tonight Show, Jerry Springer, Carson Daly, small reality shows, and all shows in wrap.


Responsibilities to include:


Credit application administration - establish credit for all productions with industry vendors
Administers the centralized W-9 files and opened accounts list
Processes accounts payables, purchase orders, journal entries
Payroll downloading/listing/labor correcting/posting
Processes quick checks
Internal auditing of Pcard envelopes for NY based late night shows and for NBCU Studios employees
Runs PARIS and GE NetService reports for tracking of Pcard and SPA account costs
Calculates Pcard and SPA account cash flows at quarter close when needed
Calculates Pcard and SPA account accruals at quarter close when needed




Qualifications/Requirements:


Qualifications:


High School degree or equivalent required
Minimum 3 yrs experience with MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
