Remuda Ranch provides individualized, intensive

inpatient programs for women and girls

suffering from eating disorders and related issues

 

In our unique, non-institutional settings,

our treatment teams, consisting of Psychiatric

and Primary Care Providers, Registered Dietitians,

Masters Level Therapists, Psychologist and

Registered Nurses, offer Biblically based

intensive care to patients of all faiths.


 

 

Position Summary:

Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions specifically addressing body image and trauma issues related to eating disorders by utilizing insight oriented and experiential interventions from a biblically-based, Christ-centered perspective. Facilitate art therapy groups. Maintain relevant curriculum and report on Performance Improvement indicators related to Body Image, Art and Trauma programming.

 

Educational/Experience:

1.  Minimum of Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Sciences or Health Care Profession.

2.  Prefer a minimum of two years of either instruction in the specific area related to the activity therapy or experience in counseling or direct patient care.

3.  One-year experience in Behavioral Health profession required.

4.  One to two years of chemical dependency experience preferred.

5.  Must obtain and maintain  licensure in the State of Arizona..

6.  Must have knowledge of the variety of forms of treatment appropriate to Body Image Therapy.

7.  Obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid and Behavior Management Training.
