PROMOTION MANAGER

Description:

In coordination with marketing director, plan, develop and execute all aspects of station promotions and events. Directly supervise promotion staff including, but not limited to, hiring, training, discipline and performance appraisal. Oversee prize fulfillment and documentation in compliance with FCC policy. Develop and maintain promotion calendars and logs for Marketing, Sales and Programming.

Requirements:

Position requires an energetic, well-organized individual who is a team player with the ability to pleasantly juggle several projects simultaneously. Must be highly self-motivated, work well without supervision and demonstrate daily follow-through skills. Physical demands: employee will be required to speak and listen on a daily basis; occasionally be required to lift 50-100+ lbs, walk long distances and operate office equipment.

Education:

High school diploma; college degree or courses in marketing, advertising or broadcasting preferred. Computer literate and typing required. Excellent written/verbal English language skills; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute ratios and percentages and to draw/interpret conclusions regarding listener data.
