OPERATIONS TECH

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking experienced Operations Techs for its Carson, CA facility.

The Southern California refinery H2 facilities currently consist of two (2) SMR (steam methane reformers)units and associated equipment within the growing Los Angeles area H2 pipeline franchise.

The Operations Tech will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the processes to produce hydrogen (e.g., steam system, compressors, rotating equipment, and DCS operation), performing equipment inspections and minor maintenance work.

Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalency, be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts and be a strong team player. A commitment to safety and strong communications skills are a must. We encourage qualified candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and/or military or technical background with plant process experience to apply.
