SENIOR COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICER- Greater Phoenix
 
REPORTS TO:Commercial Banking Manager


LOCATION:  Phoenix/Scottsdale AZ. 
 
COMPENSATION:  The base salary is 75K-110K , plus uncapped incentives and benefits.  Final compensation will be highly competitive to the market.

THE MANDATE:
The Commercial Loan Officer manages a territory and a commercial banking portfolio of assigned companies within a defined market. The candidate?s primary responsibility will be the generation of high quality commercial loans and deposits. Preferably, the candidate should have an established book of quality commercial customers in the general geographic area of Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariaona. Determine needs and provides a full range of products and services to meet those needs, including negotiating and structuring commercial loans. The Commercial Loan Officer also develops new business relationships for the Bank, develops and nurtures referral sources, serves as liaison to assigned Branches in support of their commercial banking activities, and participates in community activities within the marketplace. Successful candidate may also assume mentoring/coaching responsibilities including participation in establishing goals and monitoring performance of assigned junior officers. Commercial Loan Officers are expected to act largely independently in the management of their portfolio and their markets to structure more complex financing including leveraged situation such as management buyouts.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsibile commercial lending, business development and loan & deposit generation for a community bank.* Should be able to generate leads for loans and close loans for $100,000 to $3,000,000. 
* Ability to make cold calls and to generate leads that result in new business, both loans and deposits for respective financial center.
* Solid knowledge of the fundamentals of underwriting commercial and larger personal loans.
* Superior credit skills and formal training in credit analysis for business loans, commercial real estate loans, construction lending adn owner occupied Real Estate and Investor.
* PC, Internet and Microsoft Office applications proficiency.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
* College graduate with major in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related.
* Driving/Travel: As necessary.
