Vice President, Project Management

This position assesses objectives for the assigned project phases and recommends technical strategies and tactics to satisfy business needs.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Actively participating in project implementation.
- Supervising the management of projects from conception to implementation, ensuring that project management methodology is followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Overseeing the implementation of all production-related project activity, ensuring critical tasks are identified and target dates are achieved.
- Participating in planning sessions to assist in determining project approach and overall time lines associated with project requirements.
- Ensuring quality standards are met for projects.
- Ensuring that appropriate tracking, reporting and communication takes place.
- Performing standard management tasks, including performance reviews, work assignment, hiring, firing and counseling.

A successful candidate will have:
- Post-graduate degree or equivalent MBA.
- 6+ years of active involvement in project management or similar complex process management.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects from inception to implementation, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, consensus building and management skills as it relates to the administration of departmental goals and objectives.
