ImaRx Therapeutics, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing the development and commercialization of therapies that dissolve blood clots to address a variety of unmet and underserved medical needs. The Company?s initial focus is on developing products for occluded catheters, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease (PVD). The Company is advancing multiple Phase 3 and Phase 2 products to address significant markets with unmet medical needs. Two synergistic and proprietary technology platforms provide an established safety profile, and IP protection for products in development, as well as the Company?s new product pipeline. ImaRx plans to acquire a commercial clotbusting product as a revenue bridge to its products in development.

 

Position Overview

 

The Senior Project Manager is an experienced cross-functional project leader and is accountable for leading the development team in defining project strategies, developing goals, and identifying and resolving issues.  This person will serve as a champion of the Project and the Development Process recognizing that project results impact the overall success of the organization.  The Senior Project Manager will hold the team to the highest standards for operational excellence in product development.  The Senior Project Manager identifies key decision points and assures appropriate decision-making occurs in support of the project.

 

Position ResponsibilitiesLead the Global Project Team in the development (through registration) of pharmaceutical drug products.Drive the implementation of the development plan.Collaborate with all related functions within the company as well as with external stakeholders to create and execute the project plan.Act as a liaison between the team and management.Monitor the progress of the project.Maintain high level project timelines.Manage project information and documentation (agendas, team minutes, action item and status reports).Lead work groups dealing with specific issues.Identify issues/risks; develop contingency/alternative plansSupport the project prioritization and resource allocation processRecommend project team membershipMaximize the company?s ability to develop products through continuous improvement in the execution of projects from initiation to registration and product launch.

Experience RequirementsMust be proficient in project management technologies, e.g. Microsoft Project.7+ years of product development experience in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical products company.7+ years project management experience.

Skill RequirementsAbility to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication & negotiation skills

Education RequirementsBachelor?s degree or equivalent in sciences or engineeringMaster?s degree in business, sciences or engineering preferred
