Maintenance Technician

T-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts, fleece, outerwear, caps, bags and other imprintable accessories that are decorated primarily for advertising and promotional purposes. We provide our decorator customers with value-added merchandising, marketing and promotional support that helps our customers grow their businesses. Our decorator customers in turn sell our products to end-consumers, primarily for advertising and promotional purposes

We are currently seeking a maintenance technician to?assure the distribution center is maintained properly according to safety standards.

?

Specific responsibilities include:

?

?Perform daily inspections on mechanical systems.



?Maintain entire Distribution Center (lights, bathrooms, offices, roof and outside grounds).





?Maintain motorized equipment, security doors, electrical, plumbing, concrete, painting, etc.





?Provide back up for security as needed.





?Support housekeeping as needed.





?Provide back up to mail delivery.





?Perform preventative maintenance on picking carts.





?Perform regular maintenance on heating and AC systems.





?Perform sprinkler system inspections once a month.





?Respond to daily work orders and safety issues.





?Perform repairs on conveyor system, chains, sprockets, rollers and control circuits.





Assure compliance with safety regulations.





Serve as a member of the Distribution Center team, providing assistance as needed.

Specific knowledge, training or skills required to perform the duties of this position are listed below:

?

CFC certification preferred.



Basic carpentry and mechanical skills.





Physical agility to stand for long periods, bend, climb ladders and lift (up to 60 pounds).





Ability to work independently.





Strong communication skills.





Forklift certification.





Strong knowledge of building maintenance and OSHA guidelines.





Strong reading and math skills.





Flexibility in work schedule; available to work overtime.
