Service Specialist

We are seeking female & male applicants to join our Pest Elimination Division, the nation's commercial industry leader. You'll provide pest detection, elimination & prevention solutions to an established route of around the clock customers; businesses, retail stores, F&B plants, restaurants, hotels, hospitals & schools. Main Responsibilities:

Build customer relationships through professional demeanor & strong interpersonal skills
Keep abreast of Ecolab product/svc offerings & industry conditions to enhance svc/sales of pest prevention & elimination solutions
Provide outstanding customer svc by educating customers on best practices to solve pest problems
Use technology, pest assessments & treatment plans to manage pest activity & sanitation issues
Manage route through flexible scheduling to accommodate customers, service vehicle & product/equipment maintenance, collections & record keeping
Jumpstart your career w/ on-the-job training & training at Ecolab University in St. Paul, MN


Cities in Route:Fort Payne, Boaz, Gadsden, Anniston, AL
Weekend coverage:As Needed
Overnight trips/month:0
Income First year earning potential:$30,000-$35,000/yr base+commission
Cities/Area Candidates must reside in:Fort Payne, Boaz, Gadsden, Anniston, AL area

Shift:Day/Night




Key Qualifications:

High School diploma/GED
Minimum 2 yrs work or military exp; sales exp a plus
21 yrs of age or older
Valid driver's license, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Excellent organizational/time mgmt skills
Problem-solving & basic mechanical abilities
Self-motivation & drive for results
Commercial pest elimination industry or customer svc exp preferred
Able to lift &/or carry 80-100 pounds
Ability to sell value-added products
Possess or able to obtain state certification & business licensing
Basic pc skills w/ home office capability & landline
