Infrastructure Design/Data Center Manager

DUTIES: Responsible for design, implementation and support of the corporate infrastructure. Responsible for the support of the entire network infrastructure and the field services. Research, recommend and implement new technology. Responsible for the support of LAN & WAN (HQ, Warehouses, 250 retail stores, VPN, firewall, Internet, frame relay, & DSL) Server Support (Windows, Exchange, Active Directory), RF Network at Warehouses (Access Point & Scanners) & Wireless network, SAN, Production Environment/Network Monitoring, Business Phone system support (VoIP, PBX, Voice Mail). Also responsible for the Data Center Management, disaster recovery, infrastructure architecture design, and software distribution/desktop management. Responsible for Store Field Service and new store implementation. Perform day to day management, updates, maintenance and troubleshooting of all infrastructure systems. Negotiate and manage telecom vendors and suppliers. EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of experience in managing network/system infrastructure design/implementation/support experience with MS Active Directory, Exchange, Cisco PIX, switches and routers, frame relay, and DSL. Knowledge of Telecomm and phone systems required. 5+ years experience supervising technical staff. Project management skills are essential.
