SQL SERVER DBA

Looking for a SQL SERVER DBA for a 9-12 month contract with likely extensions.  This SQL Database Administrator position is located in Scottsdale, AZ and is an immediate need.  Candidate should experience as a SQL SERVER 2003 DBA on NT (Wintel) platform.

 

Will be responsible for supporting DBA group in support of audit processes, such that they will partner with IT-Security in analysis of DBA environment and controls, gather and document requirements, identifying/suggesting remediation items, and validate remediation with internal partners. Additionally, they will be charged with assessing and researching remediation solutions where automation can be infused.

The role will not require day-to-day SQL Database Administration activities and candidates should be intermediate to strong in their DBA skills and experience.
Strong project management skills a plus
Experience in evaluating and documenting compliance controls is a significant plus.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a requirement.
