IT Program Manager/Systems Administrator

Systems Administrator responsibilities include Windows 2003 Administration, Outlook e-mail administration along with Network support as needed. Other responsibilities will include Help Desk and end user support. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: 1. System Support: Extract data, generate reports and perform Administration, Training and Help Desk tasks. 2. Network Administration: Support the existing Windows 2003 server environment consisting of 3 Servers, 1 Exchange server and 1 terminal server. Perform Outlook e-mail administration and support functions. Currently supporting 300 users in 7 locations. 3. Help Desk Support: Provide Help Desk for Microsoft Office Applications and Windows Networking. 4. Training and end user support: Assist users with new and existing custom applications. Provide application training for new programs and procedures. All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Qualifications :
Experience/Training/Education: Required: • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 4+ years equivalent work experience. • Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft 2000, Windows XP, Active Directory. • Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003. • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required. • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. • Highly self motivated and directed. • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Strong customer service orientation. • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Desirable: Bachelors degree in Computer Science MCSE
