Source Medical is currently seeking a Application Support Analyst - Tier 4 for its corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL. 

 




Summary of Position:

As an Application Support Analyst - Tier 4, you will be a key member of the Source Medical Production Services team with the overall responsibility for providing application support to software end users. In this role, you will support the enterprise by providing upper-level Tier 4 support while also serving as an application consultant for co-workers, including the Source Medical Implementation Team.

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong software application support skill set, a responsive customer service orientation and the organizational skills to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities on a daily basis.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provides Tier 4 support for software end users.

2. Identifies and defines issues that require attention of software development team.
3. Improves software support documentation to facilitate future troubleshooting and improve client satisfaction.

4. Provides support for Source Medical Implementation Team, assisting in installation and integration issues in order to ensure successful implementation efforts.

5. Supports Client Services and other internal departments by fielding and working ad-hoc requests related to troubleshooting the software application on an ongoing basis.

6. Identifies and forwards potential software enhancement opportunities.

7. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Education/Qualifications:

--BA/BS degree in Computer Science with 5 years of demonstrated software application support experience

--Project management skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

--Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to reporting accuracy

--Excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities

--Effective interpersonal skills (presentation, written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff levels

--Superior customer service focus
