Business Intelligence Technical Mgr (1100)

PatchLink is seeking an exceptionally talented and motivated BI Technical Manager to lead and grow our BI Consulting practice. The BI Technical Manager will be a key Client point of contact ensuring that our Clients" security and compliancy needs are solved in the business intelligence reporting solutions we provide.

Lead PatchLink consulting team responsible for designing, architecting, and deploying Security Compliancy and Asset Management Reporting solutions across a wide variety of business intelligence disciplines to include business requirements analysis, data warehouse and data mart design, data transformation / integration, OLAP/ROLAP, enterprise reporting, executive dashboards, analytics, etc.
Consult with our Clients in assessing their enterprise reporting security needs, recommending strategies and solutions, and developing custom enterprise security and asset management reports.
Assembles and drives cross-functional project teams, identifies resources needed, and develops detailed project plans and schedules to ensure on-time completion of projects.
Provide a weekly status report highlighting accomplishments, risks and issues to the department director.
Participate in practice development tasks including solution/methodology development and Business Development/Pre-sales activities. Required Skills: 3+ years project management experience in a technical environment. PMP certification is a strong plus.
5+ years technical knowledge in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Reporting preferred. This includes knowledge of Cognos, ETL tools, SQL Reporting Services, utilization and design of data marts and data warehouse architectures in a SQL Server 2000 or 2005 environment. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process. Consistent success in driving teams to meet aggressive deadlines.
7-10 years experience in BI related disciplines (Reporting, Dashboards, OLAP/ROLAP data warehouse design, data integration, business process engineering, performance management, budgeting & planning, strategy).
5 years consulting experience in implementing full lifecycle Business Intelligence solutions for Fortune 500 and/or public sector clients.
Experience or demonstrated ability to develop enterprise security and compliancy reports.
Proven accurate project estimation and project planning experience. Proven experience managing expectations and managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Outstanding time management and organization skills.
