Functional Software Test Engineer

CIBER Inc., A leader in Voting System software IV&V is looking for seasoned professionals to support our functional testing, documentation review and source code review processes to join our fast growing Huntsville team.  Our testing is compliant with government standards that apply to voting systems.

 

Functional Software Test Engineer

 

This individual will define different tests for positive, regression and load/performance testing. They will need to assist in developing test methodologies, test plans, matrices and helping to identify entrance and exit criteria from each of the test cycles. Will analyze source code integrity and provide reports indicating where the source code does not meet the requirements. Good communication skills are needed to interface with customers.

 

? Ability to follow documented testing methodology procedures.

? Strong background in C++, C#, VB, Java, Power Builder as well as other 4GL languages

? Fluency in the use of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications

? Experience using formal testing methodologies

? Ability to develop and execute test plans/scripts successfully

? Experience with software test plan development and execution

? Responsible for source code review based on firm government standards

? Must possess interpersonal skills; requires direct coordination with
customer during review

? Ability to document findings during review

? Exceptional attention to detail and documentation

? Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills

? Excellent time management and organizational skills

? Must be self-motivated and have well developed interpersonal skills

? Bachelors Degree preferred
