Our formal name is the California State Automobile Association (CSAA), and we are the AAA Membership organization for Northern California, Nevada and Utah. CSAA is the second largest AAA club, servicing over 4 million Members throughout our territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 ? Develop new and or modify existing information technologies that will facilitate and enable business initiatives, growth requirements and efficiency goals.

 ? Provide internal consulting expertise to I.T. and I.T. customers in multiple technical environments (e.g., mainframe/distributed computing, database technologies)

 ? Develop, interpret, coordinate the transition to and maintaining technology and processes consistent with architectures/frameworks throughout the CSAA I.T. technology community.

 ? Research and investigate new technological solutions to address current business needs and anticipate future requirements, including strategic applications of technology by competitors. Communicating finding and results of

testing with recommendations to senior management.

 ? Actively participate or lead in the creation of standards and methodologies.  Using these to ensure that the selection and certification of CSAA standard I.T. products and processes are optimal in terms of cost, quality, fitness, completeness, timeliness and durability, are sourced from the most viable suppliers, meet the required levels of service, quality and support.

 ? Ensuring that architectural issues and core competency directions are considered and resolved across all I.S. Projects, including those involving internal development, package acquisition and outsourcing.

 ? Participating in forging collaborative relationship with AAA federation and clubs on national and regional initiatives and directions.

 ? Mentoring others around technology, management, core competencies and CSAA I.T. direction

QUALIFICATIONS:

 ?  5 years experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing and Data Mart design and implementation.

 ?  5 years experience working with relational and dimensional data base models.

 ?  Minimum of 3 years experience in development of ETL with Informatica and Oracle PL/SQL.

 ?  Ability to gather business requirements and communicate complex technical concepts to business.

 ?  Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.

 ?  Skills required in Oracle 8i/9i, DB2, Unix Scripting, SQL, PL-SQL and Erwin.

 ?  Experience with BI tools such as Crystal, Sagent or Business Objects a plus.

?  Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required.
