Office Automation Engineer (964)

Provide expert level support to Pegasus employees around the world.
Provide in depth and hands on troubleshooting of computer equipment and desktop environment.
Identify and solve problems with computers, hardware, software, and other related items.


- Document issues by providing accurate and complete descriptions of problems, inquiries and requests in a problem management ticket
- Maintain accountability and ownership of tickets by conducting follow up investigations and confirming the resolution
- Improve systems or applications ?enhancements/modifications? by participating in the testing prior to releasing them to Pegasus employees
- Increase IT knowledge by participating in training required to develop and maintain skills
- Write technical documentation for end-user troubleshooting and repair of common issues
- Keep end-users informed by producing and reviewing documentation used to provide instruction in the appropriate use of company computers and related equipment


Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and Microsoft Office ?Required?
Microsoft Certified Professional in Microsoft Windows 2000 and/or XP ?Required?
CompTia Network+ or Microsoft Network Essentials Certification ?Required?
CompTia A+ ?Required?
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer ?Preferred?
Knowledge of Microsoft Share-point ?Preferred?
Required Experience: Three years of technical certification from a college or technical school or 2 - 4 years related technical desktop support
Expert written, and oral communication and documentation skills
Strong analytical skills in order to solve practical problems where limited standardization exists
Read and understand technical documentation
Knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes, and procedures
Extensive knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware components
