Overview:

Calence is looking for a senior tem remember who will be intimately involved with the Enterprise Management Systems. In this role you will use Netcool Omnibus in an MSP Environment. To be successful, you will have substantial technical experience with Unix and/or Linux.

Duties:

Primary responsibilities include:

? Work closely with Unix network, and database support groups and business application group to prioritize requirements
? Participate in the rotation of production support primary duty with other team members
? Coordinate resolution with service delivery team and application support groups and implement changes to prevent problem recurrence

Qualifications:

? BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (desired)
? 3-6 years experience in varied technical position including Network Systems Management using Netcool Omnibus and Precision, Unix Administration and scripting (Perl/Bourne/Korn)
? Netcool (Omnibus) expertise required in addition to strong troubleshooting skills.
? Netcool (Precision) expertise required
? Unix System Administration (Solaris)
? Linux System Administration (Redhat)
? Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and SNMP and Netcool
? High level of interpersonal and communication skills
? Experience in Netcool Webtop, MTTraped and Netcool Probes (desired)
? Project methodology and project management skills
