Systems Analysis Specialist

Primary Responsibilities Senior Systems Analyst to join the Interaction Design and Analysis team at Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services. Our ideal candidate will have a multi-faceted background that combines design and business/systems analysis skills. The Senior Systems Analyst will help design solutions that meet the requirements of our business partners and ultimately the needs of our clients.

As a core contributor, the Senior Systems Analyst will:
-Work in consultation with business subject matter experts (SMEs) and IT architects to give them a better understanding of the business requirements, as well as with the business unit and IT management and staffs at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle.
-Analyze, refine and clarify requirements in collaboration with SMEs, IT technical architects, and application developers.
-Be responsible for ensuring that the solution design is aligned with the business requirements through appropriate documentation and requirements mapping.
-Play a key role in architectural analysis, design and decision making process.
-Guide and mentor a team of analysts in the analytical process using use cases and other object oriented design methodologies.
-Guide and mentor a team of analysts in completion of artifacts and design documentation.
-Set the direction for analysis and documentation produced by the analytical team with input from the project team members.
-Participate as a project team member to perform analysis and/or works as a reviewer for all project-level work to ensure that analytical standards and quality standards are maintained for the artifacts produced by the analytical team.
-Analyze business requirements and define information systems solutions to address complex business needs.
-Document findings and recommendations; present and articulate design solutions options to the business partners
-Work closely with IT Development team and business representatives to ensure that business needs are translated into solid and usable system designs.
-Positively contribute to the resolution of issues both within the analyst team and between the analyst team and other project team members.
-Understand current systems and the vision for future systems and works with Project Architects to ensure that the Architectural vision is realized.
-Be directly involved with the technical teams, Development, Integration, Data Migration, etc. and be responsible for understanding the technical goals and constraints to ensure that analytical work performed by the team fits within and supports the technical solution.
- Conduct, facilitate and participate in Joint Application Design


Qualifications


- Ability to work with Business Analysts and business partners (stakeholders/SMEs) to obtain requirements information necessary to define a solution or write functional requirements.
- Ability to write effective use cases.
- High-level understanding of systems design and technical concepts in order to communicate effectively with developers.
- Experience creating user interface specifications, documenting task flows as well as interface rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with analyst, architects, design and development teams
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and comfortable with fast-paced development cycles
- Willing to strive for the ideal design process while still working within the framework of the organization, project, and environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent desired but not required
-Experience in SDLC methodologies
-Experience working in a variety of subject areas including finance, product/service delivery is highly desirable.
-Any experience working with the implementation of enterprise class CRM or ERP solutions is highly desirable.
