Project Coordinator

STG, Inc., the experts in remote Alaska construction, seeks an eager, determined, task driven person to assist project managers with day-to-day administrative and contract management duties for various projects throughout rural Alaska.  Candidate must have strong organizational habits and the ability to use creativity and latitude to successfully complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion.   

 

Duties include project deliverables development and tracking, proposal development, equipment and material tracking, project submittals, project cost tracking, file management, spreadsheet development and other duties as assigned. 

 

Applicants must have a firm knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as an Associates Degree plus 5 years construction firm experience or a Bachelors Degree plus 3 years construction firm experience and familiarity with various field construction concepts, practices and procedures.  Remote Alaska logistical knowledge is strongly preferred.

 

Competitive salary will depend on experience, to include.

 Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.Knowledge of contract documents and proposal development.Knowledge of the operation practices of construction, architectural and building firms.Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations.
