Sub-Contracts Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for sub-contractor contracts for Schuff Steel company.

Manages contracts for purchase or sale of services and/or materials for all sub-contractors.

Review bids for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.

Manages the negotiations of contracts with sub-contractor representative or bidder of services

Act as liaison between subcontractors to implement fulfillment of contracts.

Facilitate the resolution of disputes with supplier to ensure optimal contract compliance.

Manage contracts with suppliers to ensure supplier compliance; analyzes supplier change requests to existing contracts and approves changes or revisions.

Plan and conduct meetings with subordinates to ensure compliance with established contracts and implement new policies and keep employees abreast of current changes of contracts.

Anticipate customer needs, changes to those needs, and the impact to existing contracts or development of future contracts; monitor inflation and its impact on forecasting.

Evaluate Supplier performance through review of reports and customer feedback; resolve issues and implement solutions to address performance.

Coordinate the integration of new sub contractors when needed

 

Experience, Education & Training:

Requires a  minimum of (5) five years experience

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or business related field.

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge of contract negotiation, procurement, and purchasing systems

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, customer service, and negotiation skills
