Position Description:

Chevron P&M Coal Mining is accepting online applications for a Utility Man (U/G) (Experienced Coal Miners) (0605-00000026) position located in Berry, Alabama through December 31, 2006.

Qualifications:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Must be able to apply a working knowledge of underground mining operations and equipment to daily tasks involving welding and burning, operating underground mining equipment, maintenance of equipment and manual labor. Candidate must work shifts.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Welding and burning necessary to maintain job. Use hand tools, operate locomotive, scoop, and other track mounted mobile equipment and perform other manual labor.

SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS OR ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS/INFORMATION:
- Relocation benefits will not be considered.
- This is a safety sensitive Position.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
- EXPERIENCE: Must have some mechanical ability that includes welding and burning necessary to maintain job. Must be able to operate locomotive, scoop, and other track mounted mobile equipment. Have a working knowledge of underground mining operations and equipment.
