Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field. Masters degree or clinical licenses (RN, MD, etc.) strongly preferred.


Qualifications: 8+ years of progressive experience in specified technical area; project management experience in health care preferred. Proven ability to determine key business issues and develop effective action plans from multi disciplinary perspectives. Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses. Excellent leadership, project management, and consulting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.


Duties:  Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams.  Facilitate work and resolution of major problems encountered by project managers. Ensure strategic directions of projects are in line with organizational business plan.  Provide general oversight, leadership and analytical/technical direction to work team. Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings.  Acts as liaison, problem solver, and facilitator.  Establishes procedures regarding implementation of project outcome.  Assesses project impact on workforce and develops staff assignment as appropriate.  Establishes effective professional bushiness relationships with all levels of management.  Instructs and educates on all aspects of project.  Coach and mentor Project Managers; motivates and train them to maintain a consistent level of excellence in project management, analyses, and outcomes. Oversee and participate in designing analytical approaches to evaluating business opportunities. Strategically structure work to ensure high quality results that meet time expectation.  Demonstrates expertise in several quantitative and/or qualitative methods.  Analyze and structure extremely undefined, complex, and politically sensitive projects.  Facilitates identification of operational and strategic implication to assist client decision-making.
