RESPONSIBILITIES: Works in partnership with Sales Executives to present solutions to current and new clients to solve their business needs in a ?value selling? model. Becomes directly involved with potential customers via proposal requests or actively prospecting for new business opportunities. In collaboration with Sales Manager or CRM/SE, presents product functionality and benefits to prospective clients. Demonstrates how the proposed methodology can add substantial value in replacing the client?s current business environment. Customizes presentations to address prospective client?s business needs. Articulates and demonstrates the value proposition of JDA solutions and multiple product sets to the prospective client. Works closely with the customer in discovery sessions and ongoing follow-up discussions to ensure clear and concise communication is taking place. Coordinates with various JDA resources and departments to secure and present appropriate proposal information to prospective and existing clients. Serves as the liaison between the client and implementation team to facilitate successful project implementations. Works with Marketing to develop collateral product support materials and promote JDA events and trade shows. Prepares extensively prior to a sales engagement with internal JDA business areas i.e., Sales Mgmt, BMI, Services Reps, CRM ensuring maximum efficiency once the sales engagement begins.

 BUSINESS SKILLS REQUIRED:Strong knowledge and experience base in the core principles and methodologies of financial merchandise planning, channel planning, assortment planning and allocation. Experience in creating or developing business processes, strategies and philosophies for various retail verticals including Specialty and Department store, Category Management, Direct and Supply Chain / Wholesale. Basic understanding of generally accepted data flow between various inventory management systems and peripheral point solutions for the strategic management of goods through the supply and demand chain. Maintains a high level understanding of adjacent principles relating to planning and execution of retail practices within retail verticals including: Forecasting and Replenishment, Space Planning, Promotional Management and Analytics. Experienced in working with various solution provider systems that address some or all of the processes relating to inventory management for strategic planning and tactical execution of merchandise throughout the supply and demand chain.

 PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:Strong communications skills with the ability to guide an audience through clear, concise communication techniques. Ability to collaboratively work with other team members to achieve desired goals and objectives both internal and external. Effective public speaking skills with the ability to control an audience convey necessary concepts and overcome objections. Flexible team player with the desire to pursue personal and team improvement. Ability to travel throughout the Americas. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that foster change, creativity, and flexibility. A self starter that can operate independently with minimal supervision. Effectively receives direction to achieve results.

 TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:Ability to demonstrate necessary JDA solutions and understand detail configuration techniques solutions to meet client needs. Can articulate the concepts of data flow through JDA portfolio solutions. Cursory knowledge of client server based technical architecture. Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations utilizing Power Point that express the value of the JDA solutions.
