Senior Manager
Senior Managers possess 8-10 years' in Financial Services or consulting services experience preferably at the post-graduate level, with 2-5 years of project management experience.? They are responsible for the diagnosis, solution development, and delivery of client solutions.? They provide project planning, scoping, estimating and staffing of engagements, and have day-to-day responsibility for the engagement teams throughout the solution life cycle of concurrent engagements. Senior Managers interface with and manage the on-site client relationship with responsibility for satisfying client expectations. In addition, the Senior Manager works with team members and practice leaders to convert and identify opportunities into engagements with existing clients and outside new business opportunities. They provide leadership, mentoring and professional development to their team
members.

Profile:

Prefer candidates who come with the leveragability to book of client contacts.? The candidate must keep current with financial services industry trends around consolidations and acquisitions.? Consulting experience is preferred and understanding of the consulting lifestyle.? The candidate should have IT experience and/or interest in being deployed on IT projects. Also, must have flexibility to be assigned to any one of three segments (insurance, banking, or securities).
Senior Managers will manage and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for large insurance clients.? Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
- Engagement Management:? managing engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defines deliverable content, ensures buy-in of proposed
solutions from top management levels at the client
- Business Development: develops and maintains contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizes and leads pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process, contributes to proposal pricing strategy.
- Practice Development & Eminence: development of solutions and methodologies, development of "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
- People Development: performs role of counselor and coach, provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.?
Required Experience and Attributes:
- 8-10 years in consulting services, including?at least 3 years of project management experience
- Majority of engagement experience focused on the Insurance market segment
- Experience in areas including:
- Life
- Property &
Casualty
- Claims/Claims Processing
- Retail
- Reinsurance
- Products & Marketing
- Distribution and Supply Chain Management
- Significant experience managing/leading complex programs, operations and product launches
- Experience managing mixed teams, including clients and contractors with both business and technical backgrounds (includes offshore development teams)
- Experience analyzing, designing and implementing large scale business/technology solutions
- Strong communication experience should include presentation / proposal generation, as well as an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within a team or client organization
- Very high attention to detail
- Stellar work ethic
- Ability to accomodate client travel up to 100%
- BS degree Required, MBA strongly desired at this level
