Technical Consultants (10 Nos. ? 2 SSA, 3 SA and 5 SSE Level)

 

Nature and Scope

The technical consultants contributes to the to the success of the implementation project by leveraging their in-depth technical expertise and fair amount of knowledge in retek product for customizing or modifying retail applications and ensure the integrations to the third party applications are performed smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the project leader and the other team/module leaders on development progress, goals, and new directions and with the Quality team on testing the product.
Design test plan strategies and oversee test scripts to validate all new software developments and enhancements.
Provide lead support during acceptance testing, implementation, and training for assigned modules
Understands Client Specifications as per the Software Requirement Specification and accordingly plans and schedules activities for the team members
Assigns / establishes and leads completion of priorities, workloads, and tasks.
Manages the implementation of the assigned module, reviews documentation
Responsible for directing the team to resolve technical issues, assigning tasks, analyzing and designing solutions with them and conducts internal training for competency building.
Responsible for the production, maintenance and ensuring adherence to programming and quality guidelines; provides regular status updates to the Project Leader

Develops programs of higher complexity and participates in designing and analysis including product design, with Designers

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science.
Techno Functional experience in the Retek implementation areas is preferable.
Should have strong programming skills in Oracle PL-SQL / Forms / Reports / is a MUST and programming skills in PRO-C or C++ are an added advantage.
Should have JAVA/J2EE, SWING Experience is a must with working expertise.
Experience working with Oracle databases and proficient in logical data modeling required. Experience development/supporting online and batch programs preferred.
Experience in Data Migration from Legacy Systems will be an added advantage.
Working knowledge on APPWORX tool is an added advantage.
He/She should have strong configuration skills and Implementation/ customizations, interfaces, conversions, on ERP Products and must be able to design / develop applications based on the requirement specifications.
