West Coast Staffing Solutions Designer needed!

SUMMARY: This position is an integral part of the Marketing and Service Offering Development Group focused on designing complex solutions that involve mega-deals and/or mutli-service offerings.  Our vision is to drive operating income and profitability for Spherion by transforming the way clients plan, acquire and optimize their workforce.  The position is a senior individual contributor and will require a high level of energy and commitment. The main focus of this position will be to drive major account sales pursuits, working independently and/or with Spherion Sales Execs, interacting significantly with F1000 clients and prospects.  The person will partner within the overall implementation team, Spherion client operations teams and other internal Spherion departments to design solutions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Drive large complex sales resulting in multi year multi million dollar contracts.

? Support and drive individual client opportunities as the solution architect, crafting value added employment solutions for F1000 targets; blending people, process and technology.

? Accelerate the Client Life Cycle focusing on the keyhole Assessment, Value Proposition, and Gaining Commitment stages.  As part of the Life Cycle, the Dir. Of Solution Design will help target and qualify opportunities; work with Solution Shaping to build the financial, legal and risk components and integrate with the implementation and operations team to get solutions in place and operating effectively.

? Assist in the on-going development of the solutions platform, including the evolution of different ?modules? such as sourcing, selecting, hiring, diversity, recruitment, change management, etc., for high volume workforces.

? Guide the sales process for complex opportunities within the Client Life Cycle.

? Research clients, competitors and market conditions related to outsourcing of high volume recruiting and workforce development.

? Collaborates with internal departments, such as marketing sales, operations and implementation, and external partners and allies in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models.

? Markets new and existing customers through creation, development, and implementation of various business solutions.

? Provides support to upper management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development or alliance development projects.

? Assists the marketing department with the planning of marketing and promotions, including advertising, special sales, and subsidiary rights.

? Provides input to the management team on new product or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs.

? Researches and learns all new emerging technologies and trends.

?  Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.

?  Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.

?  Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

?  Directs product research and development.

?  Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

 

EDUCATION:
Bachelors? degree in Business, Management, or other related field required.
Advanced degree preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:
8 ? 10 years HR business partner, recruiting, RMS/ATS business development, or HR consulting experience
Prior experience in internal or external customer development with a strong emphasis on problem identification resolution
Prior HR experience with a cutting edge  internal HR function or HR BPO product management is preferred
