Account Supervisor - Customer Service & Logistics

  Our client, based in Contra Costa County, is a worldwide industry leader in solid fuel supply, bulk material logistics and clean electric power generation. This organization's focus is the mining and marketing globally of energy and bulk commodities such as coal, natural gas, petroleum, metallurgical and calcined coke, and electric power generation.

 

We are seeking a special candidate for an immediate, exciting Account Supervisor staff opportunity who will become a valued, key contributor in a team of ten plus people in a fast-paced, fun environment. This position reports to the Vice President and the Sales Leader, and encompasses the following:

 

Scope of Responsibilities:


Interaction with customers, vendors and refineries with a high level of customer service.
Coordinates closely with the Traffic Coordinator regarding products, logistics of transporting of goods to clients (predominantly refineries), inventory management, accounts receivable, monthly recap reporting. 
Will assist with the implement and testing of a new customized tracking computer program.
Software skills required include Word and Excel, as well as strong affinity to numbers, calculations and monthly accounts receivable.
