Field Manager with Retail Grocery Experience

This position is home office based, the preferred location would be somewhere within the greater San Francisco Bay metro area


The Field Manager (FM) is responsible for managing and mentoring the Field Service Representative (FSR), ensuring the FSR is timely, accurate and efficient when executing data collection. The FM manages 26-30 part-time direct reports, managing deployment of resources across a geographic territory. Additionally, the FM is responsible for managing an annual budget of $300,000.00+. 

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Hire, train, audit  FSR?sProvides ongoing expectations and guidance for FRS?sWorks closely with the Area Manager to provide coaching, discipline and structure for the FSR?s Manage execution against a Territory budgetMaintain  a home officeCovers a geographic variety widely across the country depending on store distributionManage multiple projects Disseminate, assign and monitor the collection of weekly work tasks to FSR?sMonitor FSR dashboard Participates in project management teams to enhance processesParticipates in quality and efficiency initiatives as assignedInvestigates and provides possible solutions for field wide problemsProvides follow up and support of the Audit programTrains, train and retrain to Quality measuresFunnel information and support the Corporate directivesAdheres to company policies and proceduresResponsible for quality data and supportOccasional field collection when no FSR is available

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 Experience managing part-time employees including recruiting, training, coaching and managing performanceHeld a management position for a merchandising company or for a retail grocery, drug or mass merchandise store or region of storesManaged remote employeesExperience working form home or remote officeExperience in managing a budget

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  bachelor?s preferred, 5+ years work experience, preferable in merchandising, retail, consumer product goods environment and some of management experience
