Senior Product Manager

Colorb?k Inc, A major developer and distributor of stationery, scrapbooks and gifts, has an opportunity to join our team as a Senior Product Manager for the Stationery & Gift division.  Colorb?k has this opportunity available due to strong company growth.

 

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for:

?  Product line development and management in regards to sales growth, fill rate and COG.

?  Strategic planning of business for assigned channel

?  Identifying trends and new opportunities in the market

Place.

?  Understanding the Market, the customer, the competition, retail landscape and trend analysis.

?  Product launch responsibilities; request for quote, BOM and product specifications, costing and buy sheets, product tracking, critical path, sales analysis, line lists and catalogue approval.

?  Quality control of product samples, initial shipment and on-going inspections

?  Marketing plans in relation to product assortment, packaging, branding, pricing, merchandising and promotion.

?  Account presentations.

?  Management of vendor relationship; price negotiation, sourcing and travel.

?  Supervise and direct others and provide direction to Design team.

 

 

The qualified candidate will have:A bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related field5 - 7 years experience as a product manager, preferably with a  consumer goods companyExperience providing direction to DesignersStrong MS Office abilities, expert Excel abilitiesStrong analytical and strategic planning skillsExcellent communication and customer presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to write and successfully execute a business planDemonstrated vendor negotiation skillsExcellent supervisory skillsExperience working with overseas vendors is preferredCandidates who have experience with stationery,

  or gifts industry will be given a priority
