Customer Service Advisor - Service to Sales - 20060918 - TCC100

As a Customer Service Advisor - Service to Sales, you will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries and recognizing sales opportunities in an incoming call center environment. You will provide personalized service (telephone and/or written) to meet or exceed clients' time and quality expectations. Advisors execute transactions promptly and accurately respond to client requests and inquiries. To meet these demands, you will focus on understanding the firm's service policies, systems and legal compliance regulations, as well as, our products and services. Upon completing the customer's service request, you will then transition the conversation to offer additional benefits, services, and products for their Chase Visa or MasterCard account.  You are passionate about providing quality customer service and enjoy working in a sales-focused environment.  As a Customer Service Advisor, you play a key role in helping Chase retain and grow our business through your ability to up-sell and cross-sell our products and services.  You are results oriented and enjoy the challenge of meeting or exceeding your sales goals and being rewarded for it through an excellent incentive plan.




At least one year of customer service and/or call center experience with the same company.





At least six months of cross-selling/up-selling or telesales experience


Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.


Must be very willing to work in an environment that requires heavy phone-based customer interaction.


Flexible and adaptable to quick-changing environment


Strong interpersonal skills: Professional, courteous, friendly, warm, empathetic, level-headed and composed.


Using basic business mathematics, including percentages, decimals, APR calculations, and application of formulas


Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make swift, sound judgements.


Basic computing skills, including mouse usage, keyboard usage, launching programs, window(s) navigation.


Adapting to change; adjusting plans and actions in response to changes in information and opportunities


Must be able to work one weekend day per week.


Must be able to attend training Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm for the first 10 weeks.
