Customer Service-Project Manager 301

Direct hire and temp-to-hire openings for Customer service/design/project management assistant.
Job responsibilities would include:
Preparing quotations and order acknowledgements, processing work orders to
production, ordering job specific parts, scheduling shipments and some customer
interaction.
This individual will be working with inside sales and design staff, purchasing
and accounting staff, our manufacturing staff, some outside sales reps,
customers, and vendors.  We do not have "salesmen" because most of our work is
custom, our "sales" people are actually industrial designers who can relate to
the customer on all aspects of their store layout, case design, etc.  Our
sales/design staff are also project managers of their customer accounts and take
the project from proposal to completion.  We have a tremendous amount of contact
with our customers and we pride ourselves on excellent customer care.  However,
our "customer service" department is much more than phone interaction with
customers.  This person needs good communication skills, good typing skills and
knowledge of word, excel spreadsheets, etc., ability to work independently and
have great organizational skills.
