Position overview:

This position will involve working with Alabama Medicaid beneficiaries to address a variety of questions over the telephone.  Inquiries received may include beneficiary file updates, eligibility, policy, benefits, and claim status questions.  Person will also respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns, collect, document, and provide accurate information on all calls received.  This position requires one to be on the phone and entering and retrieving information into a computer eight hours per day.

 

 

Position Requirements:Excellent customer service and communication skills. Basic PC skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently. Ability to identify and solve problems. Ability to perform multiple tasks. Ability to project a positive attitude and a high degree of self-confidence. Knowledge of Medicaid or health insurance billing a plus.
