Maersk Line, the world?s largest provider of containerized transport solutions, is seeking a computer-literate and highly organized individual to coordinate and expedite the movement of import and export cargo at our offices in Kenai, AK.

 

In this multi-faceted position, you will provide administrative support, coordinate account maintenance and development, support account management by taking bookings and updating systems, and coordinate all aspects of import and export processes to ensure a high standard of customer service. This will include monitoring, managing and resolving rate and service issues for external and internal customers; coordinating export documentation; and providing Customs and other government agencies with the necessary paperwork.

 

To qualify, you must have a HS diploma (Bachelor?s degree preferred) with a minimum of one year of inside sales or customer service experience. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and data analysis skills. A commitment to customer satisfaction and proficiency in MS Office applications are essential. Familiarity with mainframe systems is preferred.
