Center Director

We seek an experienced candidate for Center Director at a medium sized, family-oriented, private preschool & childcare center.  Candidate must have excellent communication skills, proven leadership abilities, customer service skills and be committed to excellence in educational childcare.  We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference, and knows how to do it!

 

This position is responsible for the daily planning, management and supervision of 10-12 staff, and 100+ children.  The Director is also responsible for communicating with parents as needed.The position requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service. An understanding and experience with Arizona daycare licensing requirements is a must.

 

In this capacity, you will be responsible for ensuring the school is operated in accordance with company policies and procedures, and complies with all state licensing standards while fostering an educational, nurturing, and safe environment for the children in our care.

 

Successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Director, or at least 3 years as an Assistant Director in a medium to large state licensed facility.  A BS or BA in Education, or CDA Certification will be considered in lieu of experience.  Training will be provided for the qualified candidate.  This should be a considered a growth position for a person looking for a future in childcare management.

Management/supervision of the school in a manner that will ensure a safe environment for all children Ensure proper implementation of curriculum Oversee the hiring, development and maintenance of quality staff Implement measures to ensure maximum enrollment Oversee the development and management of programs that allow for strong communication with parents Supervision of USDA-approved Food Program requirements to ensure the children are receiving nutritional meals and snacks Interface as needed with state licensing and other regulatory agencies to ensure continued compliance Oversight of facility and grounds to ensure superior appearance
