Lead Educator

Overview : Seeking an experienced educator with a healthcare and leadership background.

Title equivalent to: Senior Nurse Educator, Lead Education Specialist, Manager Nurse Education.

Responsibilities :

Provides and/or facilitates standardization for educational activities. Provides leadership to achieve optimal clinical, operational, financial, and satisfaction outcomes. Develops orientation curriculum and collaborates with others to achieve the highest education standards. Supports change. Understands the budgetary process. Mentors and coachs the education department staff; and, assists in the selection, orientation, and development of new employees.

Qualifications :

Must possess a current licensure in the State of Arizona as a RN upon hire. Graduate level education in nursing, education, or management is highly preferred. Recent work esperience in developing, teaching, and coordinating educational programs for adult learners. Must have working knowledge of hospital operations, staff procedures, quality and process improvement, and community resources. Excellent organizational and communication skills necessary.
